Verizon Wireless has acquired rural mobile carrier Ramcell, which operates in Kentucky and Oregon using the TDMA standard,, the company announced yesterday. Subscribers and networks will be converted to CDMA by Verizon, while the networks will be upgraded to EV-DO Rev. A. This acquisition includes the Ramcell spectrum license, and covers about 300,000 people in the Clay and Madison, Kentucky markets, and another 274,000 in Coos, Oregon.

Financial details have not been disclosed. And this acquisition will greatly increase Verizon Wireless’s coverage in both areas.

Inadequate – Ram Cell Phone Mount Review

By: David Hayes

Though it does not look as sleek as some other high end mounts do, the quality of this product is at par with them. It also comes with the mount for the AC vent but I did not try that out yet. I can easily plug my car charger into the phone, and also the aux cable to listen to my music or podcasts. I use this every single day, and I wouldn't do that if it was a pain.

I use this for a nexus s phone in a 2009 Honda fit. I stuck the adhesive disk on the dash and use the suction mount on the disk. The windshield mount is excellent; it holds tight to the windshield or any other smooth, flat surface, and is a huge improvement over the original mount that came with my Tom Tom. The vent mount is OK. I've used it less than a week and I am not sure about lasting durability, though the product seems to be made very well. I cannot comment on the vent attachment or the dash attachment as I didn't use them.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy another if I needed it. So, I was pleasantly surprised. I had some difficulty with the stability of the vent mounts. Once I placed rubber bands around the two prongs, like someone else suggested, it became a lot more stable.

The "foot" of the clip also makes it impossible to mount successfully in more ideal positions, and adds no stability. Almost every time I put the phone in/out the thing falls out of the vent.

Studies have shown that even just talking hands-free can affect your reaction time, so it's not recommended (and may even be illegal in some places). Dialing out or scrolling through lists of any sort would be even worse. The suction is very strong and doesn't wiggle at all. The vent mount is kind of flimsy and if your vent vertical movements are loose, the weight of the phone will definitely pull it down.

The design allows me to have the phone connected to the car charger while in use -- this is big plus since using the GPS navigation is a big battery drain. Great design and competitively priced. The holder itself is a great solution for those of us with odd sized devices or devices with a protective case installed. I use my iPhone for XM radio and Navagon GPS navigation in my car. The vent mount works with my 06 Accord. I needed a car mount for my Samsung Captivate, and I found this product via the XDA forums.

This product worked perfect for what I was looking for. I wanted something to attach to my air vent, since that is the best place in my car to put my phones GPS, and it not be in the way. I got this one and the Motorola brand dash mount. The Motorola mount is nice that it puts the phone in to car mode automatically when you put the phone on it.

To say that I have tried almost everything in order to safely and logically dock my phone in the car is an understatement. Infrared Bbq Grill Reviews.
